Service Engagement Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Optical Communication Networks (OCN)! Before you engage with our services, please review our Service Engagement Terms and Conditions. These terms outline payment procedures, client and service provider expectations, communication protocols, and more. Your agreement to these terms ensures a smooth collaboration. If you have questions, our team is here to help. We appreciate you choosing OCN and are happy to have you on board!

Audio & Visual Production Services

The client will be held liable for equipment damaged or stolen by the client and/or the client’s associates.

The client will be responsible for any fees and regulations related to locations and actors used. Any props, transportation, or other third-party resources are also the client’sresponsibility.

Any changes to the action plan must be submitted in writing at least 24 hours in advance.The client may be subject to additional fees depending on the change.

The client owns all rights to the product upon final payment. If the client cancels the project before completion, the client must pay a cancellation fee, and we will retain the rights to the project.

Upon signing the contract, up to 60% of the agreed price is due upfront.

Please note that,For long-term projects, we will bill services monthly. In the case of short-term projects, the remaining amount is due upon completion of the project. This includes services added after signing the contract.

Electrical Services

After each visit, fees will be paid either electronically or by check within seven business days.

Added services will be charged accordingly and must be paid simultaneously with the originalwork order.

Any equipment rented from OCN to the client remains the property of OCN. The client will be charged repair or replacement costs if the equipment is damaged or lost.

Orders canceled after 24 hours will be subjected to a cancellation fee that must be paid within seven business days, even if the client places another order.

Web Development services

Payment structure: 50% upfront, 50% after you have approved the final website. Payment methods accepted: Credit card, PayPal or bank transfer

Design elements and resources needed to finish the work, including but not limited to fonts, stock images, and branding elements are not to be paid for by the freelancer. Those will be paid for by the client, who will retain the right to use them after the work is complete. However, this agreement does not include logo design. Logos must be provided by the client

Any requested work outside the scope of this agreement will be charged at [price]/hour.For more than two revision, extra design concepts, last-minute changes

Any new elements of design requested outside the scope of this document will be subject to a new design quote and invoice.

The will begin counting business days after the client has submitted all resources necessary to complete the work.

Usage rights: After the work is completed and payment has been received, the client will own the rights to the design.

In case of project cancellation after the work has started, the client will pay for work hours already completed.

Web Maintenance Services

Payments must be made by the first of every month.

An initial payment that will need to be paid in advance before the technician begins working on your website may be required.

An itemized bill is available upon request.

If you wish to cancel an annual subscription, you must provide a 30-day notice.

A one-week cancellation is required for month-to-month subscriptions.
